Course outline
The seminar aims to develop academic study and writing skills.
- How do we approach an academic text?
- What is a scientific paper and how is it written?
- Types of sources (academic, informational, official).
- Analysis tools (qualitative, quantitative).
- How to write a short text (report).
- How to prepare a study (project).
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the seminar, students will be able to:
- understand and engage in various writing process strategies, including drafting, revising and editing
- give and respond to feedback on their writing from their fellow students,
- find, select, evaluate and integrate multiple academic and non-academic sources in their writing;
- to be able to make use of Artificial Intelligence in task development develop rhetorical knowledge, specifically an awareness of how to change the development of arguments for different audiences, purposes and contexts.
