- The student status is acquired by enrolling the student at the University and automatically lost by taking the diploma, regardless of the years that have elapsed and regardless of whether in the meantime the student normally or not studying.
- During the study, students are entitled to a range of benefits and student welfare facilities. These rights are maintained for a time equal to the minimum number of semesters required to obtain a degree increased by half. After which time the rights automatically lost, although they maintain student status.
- The student has the right to request suspension of his studies, since for some time will be unable to study, simultaneously delivering the student identity, the special student ticket student card and care booklet. During the period of suspension, the student automatically loses the student status which he recovers, automatic, with the request to stop the suspension.
- The interval of suspension is not counted in the total study time, or as in the calculation of the minimum time needed to obtain a degree nor as the calculation of the maximum time for the maintenance of student welfare rights.
